Used to warn approaching and following traffic that a vehicle or load exceeds standard dimensions, so other drivers allow additional clearance when passing or following. Required when a vehicle or load exceeds standard NHVR mass or dimension limits.
- Meets: NHVR Oversize Overmass (OSOM) permit signage condition
- Reflective sheeting: Class 400 (formerly Class 1) to AS/NZS 1906
- Fitted: on the front of the towing vehicle and the rear of the last trailer or the load itself, whichever is furthest back
